I fret about Amtrak security and briefly evaluate Night 2 of the GOP convention in my latest AmSpec column.

Just in case you're wondering about my only pseudo-celebrity encounter since I got into the city: CNN's John King walked past me earlier. (I stopped to watch Ron Reagan, Joe Scarborough, Frank Luntz and Pat Buchanan taping a segment at MSNBC's outdoor studio, but I don't think that counts.)
