I agree with you that this is going to be a squeaker of an election, and I would make a gentleman's bet with anyone that the MSM in concert with Kerry will put a severe "late hit" on Bush. That is to say, some preposterous allegation will be reported as "fact." By the way what ever happened to the Sandy Berger problem?

If it had been a republican official, the NYT would have had daily headlines, like Abu Gharaib.
